Hello food. It's nice to see you again.

As many of you know, I love food. I love just about every aspect of food. Where it comes from, the smell, feel and best of all, the taste. For many years food was all about the quantity. Not to say I have fully transitioned out of that phase. But as I have gotten older, it has become more about quality of food. I have began to realize there is more to food than just filling your stomach until you burst. There is something to be said about sitting around the dinner table with family and friends whether its 20 people or just 2. Smelling the seasons in the air while water boils and soups simmer. There is a certain comfort to home cooked meals and many people my age have really missed out on the "cooking gene". Luckily I inherited this gene double time. Many, well, all of my favorite memories are in some way connected to food. Buying food, cooking food, and I am sure at some point I enjoyed throwing food (Sorry mom). I don't have many hobbies but cooking is my only hobby I have yet to give up on. Stay tuned for posts all about food and I hope some of my recipes will bring you and your families many laughs and full tummies.
:)

  1. No, you did not throw food. You liked it too much. Not many people can say they were making cupcakes at age three, but you were. Plus, they were tasty!
